Lecturing for Noble Caledonian Cruises:
In 2010, I will be lecturing aboard the Island Sky for Noble Caledonia cruises sailing from Istanbul to Cyprus. Please see my page on the Travel Speakers website.
Lecturing with easyCruise:
In 2007 and 2008 I was a guest lecturer aboard the easyCruise tour of Classical Greece, giving lectures on board as well as on site during week long tours of the ancient world, taking in Nemea, Mycenae, Ithaca, Olympia, Delphi, Aegina and Athens.

In 2008 I visited schools in London, Rugby and Huddersfield as well as speaking at a schools day held in Cambridge on the subject of death in the ancient world. For some pictures of the visit to Huddersfield see here.

If you would like me to speak at your school, please feel free to get in touch!
Comment:

On 1st February 2010, Neos Kosmos newspaper in Australia published the first installment of my regular column 'Ancient Greece: the reality'. Look out for new installments every fortnight during 2010, in which I will be investigating everything from Greek democracy to graves, punishments for adultery to prizes in athletic games and from Greece's great battles to its favourite tipple.
